Ryan Williams

Ryan has been with Alphapointe since 2016 when he came on board as the Vice-President of Sales & Marketing. In 2021, he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer.

Ryan began his career in the United States Army as a Captain in the Field Artillery. He was stationed at Fort Liberty, North Carolina, where he served from 1995 to 1999. After that, he joined Cintas, where he held various positions, including Production Manager, Service Manager, General Manager, and Sales Manager. In 2014, Ryan moved to BASYS Processing as the Vice President of Sales, where he served for two years before coming to Alphapointe.

Ryan believes what General George Patton said about leading people:

“Never tell people how to do things. Tell them what to do and they will surprise you with their ingenuity.”

Since Ryan came to Alphapointe, the nonprofit has experienced a 60 percent growth in manufacturing and contract services, and developed multiple new product lines. That includes the establishment of Alphapointe’s Tactical Medical division, which has produced over 800,000 lifesaving tactical medical devices and developed eight new military medical patented products, all of which have created dozens of jobs for people with vision loss while also saving lives across the globe.

Ryan earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Kansas.
