Reinhard Mabry
President & CEO
Reinhard joined Alphapointe in 2006 as Chief Operating Officer. The following year, he was appointed to the position of President and CEO, where he has led the organization ever since.
Reinhard kicked off his career in this field in 1994 when he joined RESPECT of Florida, the state use program. “Being of service just resonated with me,” he says. During his time at RESPECT, sales doubled, and he was appointed Director in 1997 by the Governor’s Commission for Purchase from the Blind and Other Severely Handicapped.
During this time, he also served for one year as Director of Georgia Enterprises, where he helped the Georgia state use program grow significantly during a transition period, boosting both sales and employment for people with disabilities. He remains the only executive to have managed two state-use programs. Before joining Alphapointe, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Winston-Salem Industries for the Blind, handling marketing, business development, and base supply stores.
As President and CEO of Alphapointe, Reinhard has kept his mission to service in the forefront of his mind.
“I know if I did my job well that day, someone blind has a job or learned skills to regain a feeling of control over their life.’
Reinhard has a Bachelor of Science degree in political science and an MBA from Florida State University.
