Honig & Nichols-Kelloff Join Alphapointe Boards

Alphapointe is pleased to announce the addition of Barry S. Honig as a new member of the Alphapointe Board of Directors and Beth Nichols-Kelloff as a member of the Alphapointe Foundation Board of Directors.

Honig is the President of Honig International and the President and CEO of TruckPay. Honig International is a well-known management consulting and executive search firm with an emphasis on the needs of the financial services and payment industries.

TruckPay is a company that provides highly secure, mobile and cloud-based enterprise truck scale management software and a complete paperless ticket platform for the aggregates, demolition, recycling, scrap metal, and material supply industries. Honig is responsible for designing and providing the business analysis for the platform, raising investor funds, investor relations and for running day-to-day operations.

Honig has also worked as a Senior Technology Manager for firms like Morgan Stanley, as Principal and head of FX, Commodities and Global Credit Risk Management Technology. He has also worked as a Risk Management Consultant for several global banks and as a licensed CTA and CPO (Commodity Trading Advisor and Commodity Pool Operator), managing over $34M of investor assets.

Honig is very active in his local community, having directed the Tenafly Chabad’s “Free Loan Association” and having served as a member of the Board of Directors of the JCC on the Palisades, the Board of Directors of the Yeshivat Noam School and the National Board of Directors of “Recordings for the Blind & Dyslexic (RFBD).” Honig currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Freedom Guide Dogs and as a board member and past President of the Jewish National Fund (JNF) for Northeastern N.J. He serves on JNF’s National Task Force for the Disabled and is National Co-Chair of JNF’s Special in Uniform project.

Honig received his Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and completed postgraduate work in Computer Science at the Columbia University School of Engineering. He has also been an Adjunct Professor of Finance at New York University, lecturing on derivative risk management. He was the first visually disabled person to attend and graduate from the world-renowned Bronx High School of Science.

Over a nearly 40-year working career, Nichols-Kelloff possesses experience in various sectors, including financial services, counseling, social work, education administration, teaching and more. Retired, Nichols-Kelloff served as a Financial Advisor at First Command Financial Services in Leavenworth. Previously, she was an administrator and degree counselor for Upper Iowa University’s Ft. Leavenworth campus. She also served in an financial role with Commerce Bank, as a teacher within the South Range (Mich.) school district and as an administrator for City Colleges of Chicago and University of Maryland as well as being a counselor for the U.S. Air Force.

Nichols-Kelloff is passionate about giving back to the community and has decades of experience volunteering. Currently, she serves as the treasurer for the Wanda T Toro Trust and has had numerous roles with the Greater Kansas City Delta Gamma alumnae chapter, including as president from 2015-16. Nichols-Kelloff has assumed volunteer roles with numerous organizations, including the American Red Cross, the Daughters of the American Revolution, Girl Scouts of America, army and international military spouse groups and various church-related organizations.

Nichols-Kelloff graduated from Baylor University with a degree in social work before completing her master’s degree in social work at Tulane University.
